
Ciara Haverty, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, BSc, MISCP
Qualifications and Education
Ciara is a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the ISCP and CORU. She graduated with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from The University of Brighton in the UK in 2010. Previous to this she completed a Degree in Health Science and Physiology in the Institute of Technology Sligo. Ciara is a certified Mat Pilates Instructor with a Dry Needling qualification. She has also completed Level 1 Assessment, Treatment and Management of Female Urinary Incontinence and most recently a ‘Gals against Gravity’ workshop.
Experience
Since graduating in 2010, Ciara worked in two large NHS trusts in London, covering a variety of areas as an inpatient and community Physiotherapist and gaining valuable experience. She returned to Ireland in 2016 and worked with acute Neurological patients in Navan hospital. Following this Ciara joined East Galway Physiotherapy Practice in 2017 and also works in a number of Nursing Homes in the county. In Sport, she was involved with a Gaelic Football team in London, Roscommon County camogie team and currently a local GAA club and rugby club.
Interests
Outside of work, Ciara has her hands full with two small kiddies but she enjoys family days out and spending time with friends. She enjoys swimming and gym classes like HIIT or step and tone to pass the time.
